8 and 9 broken

Hey Alex, I have an 8 year old patient who fell and broke #8 and 9 (8 is broken hoizontally about 2mm above the gum, 9 is broken obliquely from the disto-incisal angle to the mesial gum line). He is class II and his teeth are flaired with big diastemas. He is coming in for cosmetic, composite buildups of the two teeth. I was thinking of doing them in CEREC paradigm using database... thoughts? Ideas? Pit-falls to watch for? Thanks!!

Hi Alex,
I am wondering if it is possible to manufacture abutments with the new ti bases on the Cerec AC with the MC XL milling unit, or is it only Inlab MC XL and why??

i'd like to see a section under general that is actually general. something where people can talk about recent things they've done using what they've picked up at various seminars. i just went to charlotte to see dr tyndall and dr patel for galileos training and it was fantastic. i also didn't really see a spot to chat about galileos/cerec integration cases but i didn't look very hard for it.

it's a slick looking site though. kudos to you guys for working on such a nice project!

edit: you may need something more in order to differentiate yourselves from the cerec docs site. maybe a broader span of subjects to highlight the name of the site. any type of tech that will help to integrate all aspects of a practice rather than the focus on cerec. again this is coming from a rank amateur so take what you will from it ;)

Alex : I am considering the upgrade to the AC/BlueCam. We are doing about 20 cerecs a month right now, have had our machine for 3 years. I have looked at the new units, they are beautiful, but I am having trouble seeing where we get any ROI??

Any comments ??

Hi Dan, your video on the reduced height crown was very helpful for me as I seem to make most of my CERECs this design. I like the tip of making the bevel on the buccal with the football diamond. However I still do get an occasional part of the margin that does not fit perfectly, and I am trying to make my powder as even as possible. Any ideas on how to correct this? I have also tried the rotate and position tools but sometimes the whole restoration moves off the margin and is open? Thanks,

The ability to use Cerec files to fabricate impressionless restorations is new and exciting to us. If you are interested in exploring this new techinque and learning with us please email me at rstdentallab@comcast.net so we may further discuss this.

Hi Alex, I have a patient who has an end to end bite. How do you feel about doing CERECS on these molar teeth on top and bottom? The worn anteriors need and missing molar need to be addressed also. I will try and post 3 pics, one per post of the upper, lower, and anterior. I am having hard time inserting images, what how do I do that again?
Thanks,
